The user of this Diglot should note that the Copyright owners of the ESV and the Bible Society of
Ghana arrived at certain copyright decisions which made this publication possible. It is in the light
of this that the user should note the following:
1. The New Ewe Bible was translated from the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts
and not from the English Standard Version nor was the English Standard Version
Translated from the New Ewe Bible. The user should therefore note that there might be
some differences from time to time in the way the texts are rendered.
2. To give the Diglot some degree of harmony, Section Headings of the New Ewe Bible were
revised to match as best as possible, with Section Headings of the English Standard
Version in terms of their location in the text as well as in their content.
3. Again, for the sake of harmony, the following have not been included in this publication:
• Introductions to each book of the Bible
• Parallel references
• Cross references

It is our hope and prayer that this Diglot be used fruitfully for
• Personal reading
• Study purposes
• Academic resource
• Individual and group devotions.
